Scholarship and Funding Features
Qatar University Scholarship offers scholarships every year to all students to support and encourage students from all over the world and all Arab students to study in Qatar. You can see the advantages offered by the Qatar University scholarship as follows:
Tuition fee waiver
Exemption from book fees
Monthly salary of 500 Qatari riyals
Student housing (two students in the room), including transportation to and from the university campus
Annual tickets to the student's home country
Residence in the country under the sponsorship of the university
Documents required to apply for this scholarship
Fill out the scholarship application, and all data entered must be in English only
Passport copy
A copy of the transcript of the last academic qualification you obtained
All attached documents must be in English only, and if they are in any language other than English, they must be translated into English.
Submission conditions:
The applicant must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
The percentage of the applicant in high school should not be less than 95%.
The applicant must obtain a final (unconditional) acceptance at the university.
The applicant must fulfill the admission requirements for the college he wishes to join.
Obtaining the scholarship is conditional on joining the university in the semester in which the scholarship was obtained. The start of the study can be postponed for one semester if necessary and after obtaining the approval of the scholarship committee. In the event that this semester is not passed or the student withdraws, the scholarship will be canceled directly and notified by the university e-mail.
The applicant must be of good conduct and behavior.
The applicant should not have obtained any additional funding or grant from another party.
Continuity Conditions:
The cumulative average of the student at the university should not be less than 3.0 out of 4.0.
Passing at least 12 credit hours per semester.
To be registered in all semesters (fall and spring) consecutively.
The student should not exceed the approved period of study in the academic program according to the study plan.
Comply with all university regulations, policies and procedures followed at Qatar University.
Commitment to the general conditions for the continuity of the grant.
