Scholarship and Funding Features

The Guangzhou GIST Free Scholarship offers scholarships every year to students wishing to study a master's or doctoral degree. 

• A master's student gets a monthly stipend of 140,000, and a doctoral student gets a monthly stipend of KRW 295,000.

• There are food allowances of 100,000 KRW

• The grant provides free housing for married and unmarried individuals

• A master’s student participating in research receives an annual salary of 546,249 KRW.

• A doctoral student participating in the research receives an annual salary of 1,251,688 South Korean won.

• The scholarship provides travel tickets for one direction only

• The scholarship covers all tuition costs

• The student gets a free medical examination

• The student gets to cover 60% of the health insurance fees

• 2 letters of recommendation
