- IIK scholarships include full course fees for a virtual digital language course with a total of 120 45-minute taught units (UE), 30 UE per week.
Conditions for applying for the grant
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must meet the following conditions:
Scholarships are awarded only to applicants who can prove German language skills at least B1 level
All interested parties can apply only in digital form, that is, only by e-mail, until May 31, 2023.
Only PDF documents written in German will be accepted as application documents. Documents in other languages will not be accepted
Documents required to apply for this scholarship
- Curriculum vitae (with photo if possible).
- Brief description of your current job (study or job).
- A self-written letter of motivation for your application for an IIK scholarship. Here you should explain why the language course is important to you.
- A letter of support or recommendation (eg from a lecturer or your employer). This letter can also be written in English.
- A short, self-written confirmation that you are financially unable to pay for a virtual digital language course. Please also specify your average monthly earnings or state that you are a student. You can write this confirmation yourself (please include date and signature) and you do not need to attach any receipts.
- Applicants must prove language skills at least in German at level B1, for example with a language test certificate.
