International Student Scholarship:
It is a scholarship awarded to international students who wish to study in undergraduate programs based on the quota set for the countries within the scope of the university's internal mission. The scope and quotas of scholarships for international students are determined by the Board of Trustees each year.
The duration of the scholarships is the same as the maximum duration of study. It is 2 years in the foreign language preparatory program, 4 years in the associate programs, 7 years in the four-year bachelor's programs, and 9 years in the six-year bachelor's programs.
Scholarships continue until the end of this period. The deferred registration period is added to the scholarship period.
International Student Scholarship (100%)
Covers annual tuition fees, excluding summer school fees
It does not cover housing fees
Academic Merit Discount:
Students with an annual GPA of 3.50 or higher receive a 50% tuition discount if they meet the requirements.
Preparatory program for foreign languages, second year discount:
Students who were unable to pass the foreign preparatory program at the end of the first academic year are eligible for a 50% discount on tuition fees for the second academic year.
The discount for the second year of the foreign language preparatory program is not included
Sports discount:
IUE Sports Discount is given, at the rates determined by our university, in order to attract athletically gifted student-athletes to Izmir University of Economics so that they can join the university team and represent the university in their branches, and “100% Youth Ministry” and “National Athletes Discount” are given to national athletes. Accredited for success in the sports fields specified in the OSYM Guide during the past four years within the scope of the agreement signed between the university and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
