  • Governance & Public Policy
  • Public Health
  • Entrepreneurship & Innovation
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Other English-taught Master’s programmes

Funding & Benefits:

The scholarship is fully funded and includes:

  • Full tuition fee coverage (paid directly to the university)
  • Monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 for living expenses
  • One-time travel grant of SEK 15,000
  • Membership in the SI Network for Global Professionals (NFGP)
  • Lifetime membership in the Sweden Alumni Network

❌ The scholarship does NOT cover:

  • Insurance
  • Application fee to University Admissions
  • Family expenses

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a citizen of one of the 34 eligible countries
  • Apply for an eligible Master’s programme in Sweden
  • Be required to pay tuition fees
  • Have documented work experience
  • Have leadership experience (workplace or civil society)
  • Clearly explain how your studies will support sustainable development in your home country

Key Application Dates:

  • 15 Oct 2025 – 15 Jan 2026: Apply for Master’s programmes
  • 9 – 25 Feb 2026: SI Scholarship application period
  • 26 Mar 2026: University admission results
  • 23 Apr 2026: Scholarship results announced

How to Apply:

  1. Apply first for an eligible Master’s programme via University Admissions (Sweden)
  2. During February, apply separately for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals
  3. Upload required documents (CV, work & leadership proof, motivation letters)
  4. Wait for university admission and final scholarship results

Important Notes:

  • IELTS/English proof depends on the Master’s programme
  • Strong work + leadership background is essential
  • Highly competitive scholarship
